Stiegl Art of Brewing 2010 edition “Heima(r)t” (‘Home’)

Since 1992, we have launched an annual Stiegl Art of Brewing edition, which offers young artists the opportunity to introduce their work to a wider public. Since 2002, this commitment has reached new heights thanks to collaboration with the University of Applied Art in Vienna. Students from the master classes have designed our Art of Brewing labels ever since.

"“Heima(r)t” (‘Home’)"

“Home isn’t a place, home is a feeling,” sang well-known German songwriter Herbert Grönemeyer. What was once considered un-chic and old-fashioned has once again become respectable, namely an awareness and appreciation of one’s roots.

Deer antlers, garden gnomes and cuckoo clocks have thus become popular accessories. But what is truly typically Austrian? This was the question examined by students at the University of Applied Art in Vienna for Stiegl’s Art of Brewing 2010 edition.
