Bottle of Oatmeal Stout.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout

The last Oatmeal Stout was brewed before the First World War, but Samuel Smith reclaimed the tradition in 1980 to brew this style of beer. Oatmeal Stout, known in German as “Haferflocken Stout”, is an English style of beer and a subcategory of stout. In the past, Oatmeal Stout was even labelled as an official foodstuff.

A creamy, light brown head will delight stout lovers. It exudes a malty aroma and is slightly sweet, with delicate notes of coffee and chocolate. A good stout that is also suitable for beer drinkers who are not otherwise keen on dark beers.
