Aventinus Eisbock is in a league of its own. According to legend, Aventinus barrels became frozen and then burst open. Brewers tasted the freezing Aventinus and were more than enthusiastic. After the water had frozen, the beer that remained was concentrated and much stronger.
Mahogany-coloured, almost black Eisbock. Reminiscent of spicy plum with a hint of bitter almond and marzipan accompanied by pronounced aromas of banana and carnation. Oily and very warming on the palate, it is ideal as a digestive after fine cuisine.
