In Oberallgäu, the southern-most tip of Bavaria, lies Germany's highest and probably most unusual brewing location for German beer. It is brewed with pure Alp spring water and 100% wheat malts, paired with the fruity aromas of dry hopping.
Sommerwiese beer has a very fresh, fruity and floral fragrance. The malty-aromatic, slightly sweet first impression is perfectly balanced by a very discreet acidity. The beer’s well integrated carbonic acid vivifies the palate. In the finish banana aromas typical of yeast accompanied by a hint of citrus.
